During a recent episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden, the chef disclosed that the family had been hoping for another child.

Since 1996, the couple has been wed.

Miscarriage:

  • A miscarriage occurs when a pregnancy ends before the 24th week of pregnancy.
  • Approximately one in five pregnancies end in miscarriage during the first three months of pregnancy, usually as a result of fetal abnormalities.

  • Miscarriage risk can be elevated by certain chronic health conditions of the mother, such as high blood pressure, diabetes, or thyroid issues.

  • Subsequent miscarriages could result from infection, a weak placenta that aids in the baby's growth, or a weakened cervix, the neck of the womb.
